Our fall dinner was held on Thursday, October 27, 2016. Our honored speaker was Ms. Penny Peavler, President and CEO of the Frazier History Museum in Louisville. We recognized Neil Key as our new University of Kentucky Representative, Jack Demsey’s for the donated Woodford Reserve and special guest JP Davis, VP of Fund For The Arts. Also, John Austin Clark, Georga Osborne and Jesse Malgieri spectacularly performed “My Old Kentucky Home.”
Penny, our honored speaker, served as president for the past year and has brought over 25 years of experience in the industry to her position. In the Louisville museum world, she served as director of public information, marketing and membership and
director of special projects at The Speed Art Museum. A native of Frankfort, Penny brings considerable knowledge and enthusiasm as she leads The Frazier into its next decade. She talked about the Frazier’s expansion, the partnership with the Kentucky Distillers Association, and their new designation as the official start of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Open since 2004, The Frazier is an educational and historical museum which serves more than 20,000 students and teachers each year.
Thanks to everyone for attending!
